Helping Local People Move Towards Employment and Financial Stability

The South Staffordshire Resilience Programme has been developed to support people facing barriers that affect their financial wellbeing, confidence, and ability to access employment opportunities.

Delivered by ANTA Community Training CIC and funded by South Staffordshire Council, the programme provides personalised employability support for residents who are looking to improve their circumstances, develop new skills, and take positive steps towards work.

Whether you're unemployed, looking for a new direction, returning to work after a break, or facing challenges that make employment difficult, we're here to help.

Everyone's Journey Is Different

We believe every individual has a unique employment journey.

Some people know exactly what career they want to pursue but need support to get there. Others may be unsure of their next step, lack confidence, or face challenges that have prevented them from accessing employment or training opportunities.

Our role is to walk alongside people throughout that journey, helping them identify goals, overcome barriers, and access the right support at the right time.

A Personalised Approach

The programme begins with one-to-one Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), allowing us to understand each participant's situation, aspirations and support needs.

Together, we create a practical plan focused on helping individuals progress towards sustainable employment and improved financial stability.

Support may include:

Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)

  • One-to-one employability discussions

  • Career planning and goal setting

  • Skills and experience reviews

  • Identification of barriers to employment

  • Personal action planning

Training and Skills Development

Where additional skills or qualifications are needed, we can:

  • Signpost to relevant training providers

  • Identify funding opportunities where available

  • Support access to digital skills development

  • Help individuals explore new career pathways

  • Connect participants with local learning opportunities

Employment Support

We work with participants to improve their employment prospects through:

  • CV development and updates

  • Job searching and applications

  • Interview preparation

  • Confidence building

  • Referrals to local employers and employment opportunities

Ongoing Support

Employment journeys rarely follow a straight line. We provide ongoing encouragement and guidance, helping participants stay focused on their goals and access additional support when needed.

Who Can Access Support?

The South Staffordshire Resilience Programme is open to residents of South Staffordshire who may be experiencing challenges that impact their financial wellbeing or employment prospects.

Support is tailored to the individual and designed to meet people where they are, helping them move forward at a pace that works for them.

Creating Positive Change

Our ambition is simple: to help local people gain the confidence, skills and support they need to improve their employment opportunities and achieve greater financial resilience.

By providing personalised support and connecting people with training, services and employers, we aim to help individuals build brighter and more sustainable futures.
