What to expect on a CSCS card course with ANTA Education

If you’re looking to gain employment and work safely in the construction industry you need a CSCS card. In order to obtain one you need to pass both the Level 1 qualification in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment and the CITB Health Safety & Environment Test. Only then can you send off for your card.

At ANTA Education we make the process as simple as possible for you.

The simplest way to complete the first qualification is via our E-Learning course. In total it takes around 4 hours to complete, which you can do at your own pace and somewhere you feel comfortable. It’s designed to be accessed on your mobile phone so you can complete the course anywhere.

When you feel ready, you can take your exam online. It’s a multiple-choice exam and to pass you need to get 32 out of 40 questions right. The great thing about doing your exam online is you get your results instantly.

If you have additional needs and require extra support during the exam, this is provided too by Highfield, the awarding body.

The next stage is the final exam which is held at your local CITB Centre, You can find the closest one to you by clicking HERE.

This test consists of 50 multiple choice questions, and you’ll need to get 45 correct to pass. We can advise you on the best places to find revision material online and have a go at some mock tests to help you prepare.

Now you’re ready to apply for your card! You can do this directly via the CITB website or for a small fee we can order this for you.

We also have links with local employers so we can point you in the direction of some great companies to work with.
