What to expect on a CSCS card course with ANTA Education

Updated: Nov 4

If you’re looking to gain employment and work safely in the construction industry you need a CSCS card. In order to obtain one you need to pass both the Level 1 qualification in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment and the CITB Health Safety & Environment Test. Only then can you send off for your card.

At ANTA Education we make the process as simple as possible for you.

To obtain the first qualification you would attend a one-day course run by one of our tutors from ANTA Education. We cover all the topics you need to know to pass the multiple-choice exam at the end of the day. We are also able to support people with dyslexia in taking their exams by providing a reader and additional time.

Your exam paper gets sent off to the awarding body and take about 7 days to come back. We let you know as soon as they come in via phone call and also email your certificate through for your new Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction qualification.

The next stage is the final exam which is held at your local CITB Centre, This test consists of 50 multiple choice questions, and you’ll need to get 45 correct to pass. We can advise you on the best places to find revision material online and have a go at some mock tests to help you prepare. We’ll support you through the whole process and will arrange your exam for you.

You find out if you’ve passed instantly, and it’s at this point we can order your green card for you. If you need support finding employment, creating or enhancing your CV or perfecting your interview skills we can help you with this too.
