Telford & Wrekin Council’s Invest Telford team has launched a skills for your future service to help 550 local people back into education, employment and training across the borough.

In late 2022, Shrewsbury Colleges Group were awarded a Multiply contract. A programme designed to help adults increase their confidence when it comes to numeracy.

​

Shrewsbury Colleges Group continues to play a leading role in supporting the development of Adult numeracy skills through the DfE Multiply programme across the Shropshire region.

In collaboration with a fantastic group of partners we have designed a number of fully funded numeracy programmes helping to transform the lives of hundreds of people across Shropshire.

To date, we have supported over 500 individuals in the development of their numeracy skills who are now more able to progress to higher levels of free training to secure a skilled job in our economy.
Shrewsbury Colleges Group have been awarded a 3rd contract (until March 2025) to continue the great work we and our partners continue to deliver on.
