ALTERNATIVE PROVISION FOR SCHOOLS

The aim of the ANTA Education Alternative Provision #NobodyLeftBehind is to help support secondary school students who have been identified as struggling within mainstream education. Our goal is to equip learners with the knowledge to help them progress, qualifications to help them into work and the confidence to create a positive future.

ANTA Education would like to build robust partnerships with schools and trusts to ensure that our provision supports all stakeholders, making the greatest impact possible. With this in mind, we value feedback and ongoing discussions to ensure that we can make a collective difference.

Individual learning plan

All programmes are built around an achievable target that upon completion, every learner will have increased confidence, a clearer understanding of the life ahead of them and accredited qualifications to assist into longer term employment. Our aim in the shorter term is to help learners re engage with full time learning.

All learning plans are bespoke and can include a selection of the following accredited qualifications:

  • Highfield Level 2 Award in
    Customer Service

  • Highfield Level 1 and Level 2
    Award in Health & Safety

  • Highfield Level 1 Award in
    Health & Safety within a
    Construction Environment

  • Highfield Level 2
    Award in Mental Health Awareness

  • Highfield Level 1 & Level 2
    Award in Food Safety

  • Household Budgets

  • Drug & Alcohol Awareness

  • Life Skills

  • Employability

Working closely with our school partners we will continue to develop training offers that engage students in a positive way.

Our aim is to add value to all participants involved in this programme. With that in mind we have an adaptable, flexible mindset on supporting each learner.

Pre assessment & Timescales

All learners must complete a brief assessment with ANTA Education prior to joining any alternative provision programme to identity the best support and associated learning plan. The pre assessment can involve all key stakeholders to ensure identified barriers can be addressed.

Minimum timescales are available to be booked in advance, to be agreed per learner in partnership with Schools and relevant stakeholders. These include:
4 Weeks
Half Term
Full Term
Full Academic Year

Upon pre assessment time scales can be agreed based on flexible dates to enable learners to enrol throughout the academic year.

Location for services

As social barriers for each student will vary, the ANTA Education team will assess and agree the appropriate location for delivery. We will offer flexible learning options for every learner to ensure access for everyone. Based on our preassessment and agreement students can be invited into our centre, supported within their existing school environment or we will agree a mutual, convenient venue*

*Our aim is to ensure learners are met in a comfortable, convenient, safe environment. We’re in constant contact with a growing network of community centres and social spaces that offer us private space to support learners. No venue is used without a strict health and safety assessment, to be reviewed annually.

Searching for funding on your behalf
As an added benefit for our School Partners. We realize how that schools can often struggle for funds. So as part of our not for profit #NobodyLeftBehind project we're actively seeking grants and additional funding to support our partner schools and their students.
